EXCELLENCE - Oh Lord our God, Excellent is Your name in all the earth. Our unyielding drive is the pursuit of excellence in everything we do for God in our lives and ministries. Diligence, decency, righteousness and faithfulness even to time are demonstrations of excellence. God’s people and facilities should reflect the excellency of God. We are called to meet the GOLD STANDARD.
THE FAMILY - In FGM the family is a key focus of our ministry. Our effort is geared towards fostering strong marriages and healthy families, knowing that they are the foundation of a godly nation. We have been called to restore true family values. We strengthen and restore families and marriages through preaching, teaching and pastoral counseling. To this end we have a programme called “FAMILY TIME” designed to minister exclusively to families. Check the Church Calendar for our Family Time schedule
A WORSHIPPING CHURCH - In FGM praise and worship is not just an event but a lifestyle and a key focus. We honour and adore passionately with joy our God through dynamic and contemporary praise and worship music. We don’t just sing, we worship.
A PRAYING CHURCH - To us prayer is a lifestyle platform for interactive and dynamic communication with God through which we are daily empowered to accomplish the Will of God in the earth as His beloved children. Our corporate prayer meeting is called “OPERATION OPEN HEAVEN”. Check the church calendar for the schedule of this programme.
REACH-OUT CHURCH - We have been saved and called to reach out to the world. FGM is therefore a Reach-out Church, prepared to use every opportunity to introduce people to Christ. We always try to keep open our door of fellowship with an attitude that welcomes and includes newcomers. In every service we eagerly and lovingly expect and welcome newcomers. Don’t wait to join us.
THE PRESENCE AND TOUCH OF GOD - We value the presence of God in our lives as the source of our inspiration, grace, comfort and refreshment. We believe that the presence of God should be felt in our meetings. We believe and have experienced that the presence of God brings His power to bear on lives to effect deliverance and healing.
SERVED TO SERVE - We hold that Jesus Christ served us through His death and now through the ministry of the Church, by which our salvation is guaranteed. Hence as believers we should become disciples who grow into fully devoted followers of Christ and standing even in trials to serve God.
As the scripture teaches, every worshipper would have to be involved in the work of the Church even if he/she does not hold an ordained or salaried position in the Church. Every believer has a God-given gift that they need to discover and offer in service for the enrichment of the body of Christ. See below for the various Service Units in the Church where you can serve.
RELATIONSHIPS - We treasure relationships as the means of reaching people for Christ, building fellowship, generating team spirit and good social order and a mirror with which to assess the rightness of our own walk with God. Our valued relationships are those that achieve the above, being anchored on love, respect, sexual purity, team spirit and support for the weak.
Race, tribe, gender, age and social standing do not hinder us in building relationships. We constantly relate with non-believers to build love and a better society. We encourage all our members to belong to a Samaritan Cell Group, our platform for building relationships and team spirit. READ MORE
